1. Dress Code Reminder

We are reinforcing our professional dress code policy effective immediately.

We understand that not every student has the resources to look polished every single day—and that’s okay. What matters is that you’re making an effort. We can tell when someone is trying, and that effort is what counts.

If you’re struggling to afford professional attire, please see Rose. She will work with you to create a plan so you can meet the dress code without added stress. No judgment—just support.

Looking professional is part of your training. Let’s build those habits together.

2. Earbuds, Headphones & Phone Policy

To maintain a professional salon environment, the following rules are now being strictly enforced:

• No over-the-head headphones allowed on the floor at any time
• No phones or headphones while working with clients—your full attention should be on them
• ONE earbud is permitted while working on mannequins or during practicals only
• No food on the salon floor

These rules exist to ensure every client receives the best experience and that you’re developing the professional habits you’ll need in your career.

3. Station Mirror Signage — REQUIRED

Reminder: Before beginning any appointment, you MUST write the following on your station mirror:

1. Your name
2. Client’s name
3. First instructor available to assist you

This is required for every service.

We all forget things sometimes, but this is a non-negotiable salon floor rule. If you are caught beginning a service without this information displayed, you will eventually be sent home for not following procedures.

Take 30 seconds to do it right—every time.

4. Tardiness Policy Update

Effective immediately, the school will begin strictly enforcing our tardiness policy:

• Doors will be locked at 8:45 AM
• Students arriving late without a proper excuse will be sent home

Plan ahead, set an extra alarm, and give yourself buffer time. Being on time is a professional skill that will serve you throughout your career.
